Tech In Use - Guidelines for Appropriate PED/Cell Phone Usage
NOTICE: Personal Electronic Devices may be used to support camera, video and computer operations, such as email of pictures, GPS, pictures for and of projects, specific smart apps for photography, ToDo and calendar editing, etc.
Any use of an electronic device is subject to inspection, including reviewing recent texts. If you don’t want your device inspected, don’t use it.
“Texting”, talking, chatting, “FBing”, IMing, Tweeting, general emailing and/or socializing, etc.
is NOT permitted.
Phones MUST be in a Do Not Disturb mode. Google your phone model to learn how to set to DND which allows the phone to receive data, but will turn off the notifications, alarms, sounds, etc. when messages are received.
Place device FACE down on the mouse pad on top the computer. PEDs are not to be in your pocket. If you do NOT want to use them for the class, lock them up in your locker.
