Need Extra Time on your projects?
NOTE: Some student may have trouble keeping up with the computer work...because they are taking too long on the focus, or due to absences, or something. Part of the focus is reading EVERYTHING between the BLUE and RED bars. Some students miss important details, etc. when they rush through the focus. Please plan on extra lab time before or after school or access the focus at home to get caught up. When you turn in work late...it is frustrating for both of us! So, please keep up...and get your stuff in on time.
Remember, the Focus counts about 30% of the grade period. This class does not have an official tutorial, so please review your options to making sure you stay caught up.
Access Focus and other work at home or other remote location:
V61 Extra Lab Time:
If you need extra lab time to work on V61 specific projects (darkroom in the first semester...or computer lab for Photoshop work in the 2nd semester), you may plan to work Thursday afternoons, just please schedule with me to make sure that I will be here. Also, generally, you need to plan to have a friend with you as I do not allow students to work by themselves. Your friend can work on a computer as well so they will not be a distraction to you.
During other classes IF THAT teacher will write you a pass.
After school - (make sure I am going to be here)
Mon - Fri - you can count on 15 minutes every day - You would be surprised with what you can accomplish in 15 minutes when there is nobody else in the room.
Tuesday or Thursday - By appointment...until about 3:40.
Library - see library page for hours. Get a pass for morning and/or lunch access
C8 and C9 Computer Lab Time:
Any student needing to do Internet research or type essays, projects, or reports may use the computer. Mrs. Haggard and/or Mrs. Plasencia may be able to offer technical support. Students coming to the morning lab will need to get a hall pass from one of their teachers or Mrs. Haggard. If you ever forget how to get to my webpage, just go to www.DrewLoker.com
