5th Six Weeks
Current Grades/Assignments - click on each for more information. Any material discussed for an assignment may appear on a test.
Focus - Complete daily, turn in at end of 5th week of each 6 weeks. Major grade, counts 5x (1 grade per week).
Magazine Assignment - two examples from a magazine, due each 6 weeks. Grade counts1x. - Current Due Date: Wednesday, 4/2
Folder and Binder Check Please get your stuff together, organized, and neat. This is a FULL grade. Make it nice. Do some sheet dividers...make your Binder or Presentation of your work, something you can be proud of. Counts 1x.
Print Display Project - 2 8x10s of two topics. One print will be mounted and the other turned in a Sheet Protector. See link or hand out for all details. Shooting due 4/1. 8x10s due in by 4/14. Final due date 4/16.
Magazine Cover - Create a Magazine Cover using Photoshop. Counts 3x.
Motion Poster - 3-5 pictures of your best pictures from our shooting for motion. One large, like a 5x7, showing your best motion with 2-4 additional supporting images. Use a Word Art Box to label the page: "Motion" or something clever. Be sure to include "Photo and Collage designed by...". The pictures should have a 2pt line around them...and do not all have to be at the same angle, i.e.. one or more can be skewed. This is very similar to the portrait poster. Counts 1x.
Photo Collage/Montage - Starts in the 5th...one or more may be done in the 5th but will be due in the 6th 6 weeks. This project will be incorporated to the CD Cover due in the 6th 6 Weeks.
EOY Contest Participation - Counts 2x.
Vocabulary Quiz - T-Shirt Design or written home work to substitute for the quiz. Counts 1x.

3 Week Interim Progress Report Grading Details:
There will be 4 grades factoring in to generate a progress report. A zero and less than a 100 in any other could result in less than a 70. Failing to have your first topic shot will automatically result in a temporary failing grade:
1. PDP Contact Sheet (50%)
2. Magazine Selection Assignment: Treatment of motion
3. Binder/Folder Check
Previous 6 weeks:
