3rd Six Weeks
Current Grades/Assignments - click on each for more information. Any material discussed for an assignment may appear on a test.
Focus - Complete daily, turn in at end of 5th week of each 6 weeks. Major grade, counts 6x (1 grade per week).
Magazine Assignment - two examples from a magazine, due each 6 weeks. Grade counts1x. - Current Due Date:
Class Shooting Photo Assignment - 2 8x10s turned in a Sheet Protector. This will be from the class shooting with your 2nd roll of film.
Home Shooting Print Display Project - 2 8x10s of two topics. One print will be mounted and the other turned in a Sheet Protector. See link or hand out for all details. Shooting due 12/14. Final due date 1/11.
Poster Project - Three posters will be completed over the course of the next few weeks. Poster # 2 (Staff) and 3 (Business) are due for the 3rd 6 weeks grading. Counts 2x.
Folder and Binder Check Tuesday, Dec 4th. Please get your stuff together, organized, and neat. This is a FULL grade. Make it nice. Do some sheet dividers...make your Binder or Presentation of your work, something you can be proud of.
NotePad - Design 4 pads (or 3 if time becomes limited...however, grade will be diminished). Rough Draft to include who all four pads are for...and what the design will be. Very rough is acceptable...but do please brainstorm who all the pads will be for...and what you plan to design for them. Rough Draft counts 10 points of final grade. NotePad final grade counts 2x.
Vocab and Keyboard Shortcuts 6 Weeks Quiz - This 6 weeks quiz will be over the words and keyboard commands presented in the focus. (2008-09 Dropped due to IKE!)
3 Week Interim Progress Report Grading Details:
There will be 4 grades factoring in to generate a progress report. A zero and less than a 100 in any other could result in less than a 70. All of these can still be turned in by the end of the grading period.
1. Binder/Folder Check (1x)
2. Magazine Assignment (1x)
3. Note Pads. (2x)
4. PDP (3x - roughly 50% of the Progress Report) - This grade drops off as a single grade for the end of the 6 weeks grading. So, if you got a zero and a low grade PR grade...just be sure to get it done in time for the end turn in.
